From all I can see, Brian appears to have been the victim of a quadruple personality bypass.

It really needs a woman. One with humour and bite. You know - a bit of edge.
Davina was considerably better - but I think they could do better still.
Needs someone genuinely curious and unafraid to ask searching questions - more of an inquisitor.

Brian fundamentally lacks interest in what's going on in the house and it shows.
BORING BORING BORING.

Funk it - I could do a better job.

disagree - love brian -

Brian is just given questions to ask though.

It's mainly down to the producers more than him. Although he does how some freedom with asking questions if he's really curious - from what I've seen of Brian though, he doesn't really seem to have much love for the show. Not like Emma at least.

Yes, I'm afraid to say it - but even Emma would be better.
Don't get me wrong, I have no dislike of Brian - he's a good guy ... just not suited to the job.

Some really sh*tty casting decisions have been made since it went to Ch.5.
It all feels a bit too dumbed down and insipid.
Get someone with brains and a bit of nouse running the production and you've a show worth watching again.
Just feels like someone ticking formula boxes ATM.
What a waste.

Just goes to show that a production is only as good as the producer.

Brian is amazing. The Ultimate BB contestant.

With the greatest disrespect, citing his credentials as a HM isn't really what you'd call a rebuttal.

Casting him smacks of a cop-out rather than an intelligent selection on the part of whoever was responsible.

I agree Niamh, that Brian is the Ultimate BB contestant but, unfortunately I really don't see him as a great presenter or interviewer. How many times have we heard him say during interviews with evictees 'I like it' or 'I like that' regards an answer or comment they made. A really nice guy with a fab personality but very bland otherwise.

Jords 25-01-2013 10:07 AM

agreeeeeeeee ruins lives shows tbh

Black Dagger 25-01-2013 10:10 AM

He's not offended me at all this series, he's been okay, his interviews have been fine and they don't do interviews with the celebrities families anymore so he's not sleazing all over any male in a 2m radius.

Well that's not very nice :nono:

I think he's improving as a host, Davina wasn't great when she started either and I love him as a person and enjoy seeing him on my screen. For me, he's the reason why I fell in love with Big Brother in the first place and therefore pretty much is Big Brother for me

He's started terrible and hasn't improved. I LMAO the other night when he asked Frankie a question then answered it himself. He is terrible surely someone, anyone could do that show better than Brian.

Rob4 25-01-2013 10:43 AM

He is okay, i just wish he would stop with the over use of "I like it". He asks a question, does not really care about the answer, probably due to having several people shouting at him in his ear piece.

"I am going to cause trouble in the house"
"I like it"
"I want to beat you to death with your own feet"
"I like it"
