Rylan Clark's super famous (and not quite as famous) friends took to Twitter last night to congratulate the star on winning Celebrity Big Brother.

Former X Factor finalist Rylan beat Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag to the title in last night's dramatic live final.

Leading the online love-in was Rylan's X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger, who tweeted: "Congrats @RylanClark!!! Ur shcamaeballs sweeties, I'm proud of u! Xo Nic."

Nicole's fellow X Factor judge, Tulisa Constostavios, also tweeted her happiness, posting: "YEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!! @RylanClark!!!!!! Wooooooiii #CelebrityBigBrother

That's a LOT of exclamation marks, T, and a rather excessive use of vowels, too.

And drop us out, Rylan's Essex entourage also got in on the action.

Fellow fake tan fan Amy Childs got a bit emotional at news of Rylan's win, tweeting: "I'm crying @RylanClark #cbb xxx"

Other TOWIE stars to tweet their joy included Harry Derbidge, who wrote, "Well done to Rylan! We deserved x" and Gemma Collins, who posted: "Essex rules @RylanClark you deserve it all xxx"

Rylan's X Factor buddies couldn't contain their excitement either, taking to their swanky smartphones to also message the star.

X Factor winner James Arthur and Ella Henderson both posted: "Yes Rylan!!!"

Union J's George Shelley said: "So proud of my brother RYLAN! Now let's have the time of our lives on tour!!"

That'll be the tour that Rylan controversially left the CBB house every Sunday to rehearse. The less said about that the better probably, Georgie Boy.

Christopher Maloney also used the opportunity to jump on the Twitter bandwagon, posting: "Well done to my bezy mate @RylanClark knew you would do it, time to shine lad, see u tomorrow for rehearsals then showtime! Queenie lol xx"

Erm, since when have they been "bezy mates"? Whatevs, Maloney.

LOL I don't understand how Big Brother doesn't do that well interms of ratings, when it gets so much attention online and stuff.

I mean it's usually X Factor that people take to Twitter/Facebook to write about - reading the tweets last night, the show felt like an event and that everyone was watching, where as in reality it probably only got about 3 Million viewers as usual.
