jumping in bins
do you jump in your bin to push the rubbish down so that you get more space in your bin? i do simply because if the bags are at the side of the bin the bin men wont take them, even if its on top of the wheelie bin lid ive seenthe bin men lift the bag off and place it on the floor whikst they empty the bin. .

yes, if i miss the bin men one week, you need to do it to get all the rubbish in, plus the snow we had messed up colection times so there was a build up of rubbish.
|
If I miss the bin man I just take my rubbish to the dump until the bin gets emptied again.

I did once a work, we had had a large shredder delivered and put the box in the bin (paper only wheelie bin) the lid wouldn't shut and so I climbed in to jump on it to squash it down. Somehow it tipped onto the wheels, tipped up and sent me flying, arms and legs akimbo into the car park......right in front of some people from the next office next door. The girl i worked with, who was with me couldn't help me up for laughing and needless to say, I've never done it since!! Luckily, only my pride was hurt....

I don't have a wheelie bin, but if I did I certainly wouldn't be jumping in it Ew.
