Not only that, but they're more manuverable than cars.

Not only that, the mounted rider gets a better view than one on foot ..... :pipe:

Not only that, but a horse's presence can be used to intimidate and control crowds ..... :pipe:

:suspect:

Have you ever been to London?

Nedusa 04-02-2013 07:20 AM

I wonder if the use of the Taser in these particular circumstances was the correct course of action bearing in mind he had the knife held firmly against his throat ?

The effect of the Taser may have inadvertently caused him to violently twitch and accidentally cut his own throat. Wouldn't it have been better to speak with him and encourage him to put the knife down first ?

As the Police got Closer
he got his knife higher.
He was not going to talk to them
(Maybe a TV News could have got closer)

The taser made him drop his kitchen knife, infact.

The taser was the best way to deal with this man

They're the best crowd control "vehicle" in the world. Providing those in the crowd aren't petrol bombing each other, of course. How behind the times would that be, Jesus...

Nedusa 04-02-2013 06:12 PM

It's almost like a scene from Blazing Saddles where the sheriff holds the knife to his own throat and says " ... one more step and the N***** gets it !!!
