What is your favourite/least favourite shop..?..
..I don’t actually like shopping in general, but there are some shops I can spend hours in...book shops in particular..and places like HMV, which will sadly be no more...the shops I hate are the ones where everything is too close together and squashed in...it doesn’t take too many other people to make you feel claustrophobic and I usually get out quickly if that happens...
..what are your best and worst shops..?... |
I hate shopping too but I love Pet shops, I could spend ages in there looking at the animals and fish
I hate hhhmmm Penneys (I think it's Primark over there) It's always so busy and I get really claustrophobic in there |
I love Waterstones, I can spend hours in there, HMV as well. And Next <3.
Despise Primark though, I've bought from there before, it wasn't a pleasant experience  |
I hate all shops pretty much....I don't like artificial lighting and inside shopping centres - like the Trafford Centre etc give me a headache as soon as I get there.....Do love book shops though - especially ones where you can get a coffee and sit and read - Waterstones is fantastic as they have a great kids area too.....

I love HMV and Next, but i'm not too keen on big department stores.

Old book shops. The best place is Haye-on-Wye, which has a book festival every year and is known as the book capital of England. It's just full of loads of little treasures. One of my favourite little towns.
|
I used to love Woolworths, spent ages in there, also love video game shops, and River Island, but I also love to browse Ebay and Amazon.
|
I peruse the really awful book selections until the sections I like become clear of humans or at least browse-worthy... :joker:
|
I hate all shops except The Disney Store... it makes me all kinds of happy

Independent and second hand book shops, charity shops, 'Beyond Retro' - great retro clothing shop in Brick Lane and Great Malborough Street, London... really good delicatessens, Karen Millen. I hate any kind of mall, anywhere cramped and crowded or where there's too much stuff on hangers (TKMaxx for example) and places where the staff are mostly affected a-holes more interested in looking "cool" than serving you - like Abercrombie & Fitch.
|
Don't really have a favourite. Hollister can suck my left one.
|
HMV, Waterstones, Blockbusters, charity shops... I like going to markets too...
As for clothing, I usually get mine from H&M, Topman or Primark. |
when iv actually got some money to spend then River Island
Least favourite will be any shop my mum can spend hours shopping in |
My favourites are independents. Second hand record shops etc. Something where you can find something different and unusual. Most town centres now mainly have the same shops selling the same things as everywhere else. I like markets too, but preferably in the summer time. I like the pound shops for everyday household products. I'm not fussy which brand of tissues I use to blow my nose. :hmph: You can get the same products much cheaper in some of these discount stores than you can in the supermarkets now if you look around (although it's not always a pleasurable experience - QS, B&M etc). Selfridges and HOF are nice places to shop in for a treat.

I hate Game. Every single one of their stores is cramped as fuck and it's always like 3000 degrees in there. Horrible store. I hate Primark too. I've yet to be to one where 50% of the merchandise isn't on the floor.
I love the Apple stores though, they're bright and airy and pretty and I love playing with the MacBooks and stuff in there. And and and I used to love going into Hawkins Bazaar with my friends before it closed down. They had the funniest things in there. I used to love looking at them all. For actual shopping though, I like Superdry's stores, along with Topman and River Island too. Their clothes are just the best and they're all so nice and I want to buy everything when I go in there but I never have any money sigh. |
I love HMV, Pets at Home, Home Bargains:worship:, Topman, Primark (), River Island and Hollister (just cos' it's pretty).
