horses and cows are both nice peaceful animals. i feel sorry for both of them. :(

I'm a little shocked that people have accepted this so lightly. Seems they can sell us anything... tell us it's one thing when it's actually another... fill food with horsemeat when it's advertised as beef. What next? It says tuna, but it's actually dolphin... but at least it's funny.

lostalex 08-02-2013 10:42 AM

Why do Europeans like eating horses so much? I don't get it.

In America the horse is considered a working animal. And people make connections with them, the idea of eating horse meat is like eating a dog in America.

But I guess Europeans think eating alligator or raccoon meat is gross. Must be a cultural difference.

personally I only eat birds and fish. I don't eat anything with 4 legs. I appreciate land animals. I only eat animals from the sky or from the sea. i don't like to eat animals that walk on land.
