laser eye surgery, would you?

i keep getting e mails saying i can win free laser eye surgery. 2 of my mates have had it done 1 years ago and now she thinks she may need glasses again, the other mate had it done @ a hospital they did one eye then a week later the other eye. i personally wudnt get it done id be too terrifed incase i went blind, the 2nd friend who had 1 done @ a time i think thats far better than both together coz if u go blind in one eye then @ least u still can see out the other. i cant wear lenses either so i stick to me specs

No, I don't think I would.

I wear contact lenses. Surgery is rather drastic.

its actully an e mail from optical express where i get my eyes tested and i wouldnt do it from an e mail lol just wondered if anyone had, had it done or was thinking about it?

AnnieK 07-02-2013 09:13 PM

Would love to but been told my eyes aren't suitable?! Not sure why. The thought of getting up without scrabbling for my glasses or remembering to take contacts out after a night out would be bliss.....would be terrified though, I'd rather go to the dentist than the opticians, but if I could have it done, I'd get over that fear.

MTVN 07-02-2013 09:14 PM

Yeah, my eyesight isn't terrible but I generally need to wear contacts if I want to have decent vision, would love to wake up everyday with perfect eyesight and not need to do anything about it

wot happend in final destintaion?

Niall 07-02-2013 09:25 PM

If it was free I would get it, I mean it's ludicrously expensive to have it done. Otherwise I think I'll just stick to my glasses.

Spoiler:

In the fifth film, the machine malfunctions whilst she is in the chair, scarring her eye/face/hand. Stupid, but nasty.

Marc 07-02-2013 09:28 PM

If I need it, I would save up for it yeah.

Amy Jade 07-02-2013 09:30 PM

lol Jake!

Sam:) 07-02-2013 09:40 PM

I would, I wear contacts 99% of the time... Would be brilliant not having to poke myself in the eye first thing in the morning:P My eyes arent suitable for Laser Eye Surgery. I'd like to get implantable lenses or rle

Me. I Am Salman 07-02-2013 10:01 PM

 those emails are fake, don't respond to them

Princess 07-02-2013 10:29 PM

My mum had problems with her and she still has to wear glasses sometimes. I was always planning on it but I don't think so anymore, glasses will do me fine.
