Michael starting to shine

I really have to give Michael credit for doing his best to make Spiral feel comfortable in the house. Especially the way he called Big Brother out for making gay jokes about him and Michael.
"It's unfair because when you make the joke with Mikey and Glyn, that's one thing but we're not going to have any of your trying to make Spiral feel embarrased."

He's been much more mature the past couple of days - I think he's getting settled in to the house and feeling more at home with the others. Nice to see the real Michael.

He also had a great line about Spiral - "He's 100% hetero, I've seen him pitching up tents every time Aisleyne walks by"

Unfortunately the only one able to make one-liners in there is richard.

The public seem to dislike michael because he is a bit strange looking, and he acts a bit scarey at times.

there is more, more crap to disagree with.

Yeah, I've noticed that there's something kind of strange looking about him, but I can't put my finger on it. What do you think it is?

CyberJovi 26-07-2006 03:18 AM

michael does seem to have settled down now, but he still isn't making an effort with some people.

I also cant work out his whole god talk, and its been almost a week now! Was he saying that Richard was going to hell because he was gay and hadn't 'found god', and because he had, that he wasn't?

I don't like the guy....or his stoopid cat.

For me there is more of Michael than meets the eye. I think he has a very split personality and he gets far to agressive when people talk about his sexuality, the fact he has posed on blind date as being straight says it all and no wonder the public are unsure of him. The fact he goes to that amount of lengths to appear on a show shows how much he can fool people. I dislike Michael ever since he snapped at Spiral for asking a typical blokey question.

RAS 26-07-2006 03:54 PM

I personally think Michael is a future serial Killer, i dont think he is all there, there is something not quite working properly in his head.

GlitterEyes 26-07-2006 04:14 PM

Sometimes he does seem quite scary I must admit that plus the way Kayne backed him to win I personally found odd. There is just something not right about the guy.

RAS 26-07-2006 04:34 PM

Its the way he can just change in the matter of seconds, when he had the argument with Richard outside, he was messing around with him and suzie, having a luagh, and then in a matter of seconds he just flipped and was going mad, it cant be healthy.

I just think Richard drives him mad. he seems like someone who can't cope in stressful situations..

GlitterEyes 26-07-2006 04:50 PM

but he copes well when he is dishing it out imo. If he is the one in the driving seat Michael copes well but acts the victim when it comes to Rich. He has set out from day 1 he enterted making others aware of the fact he dislikes Rich and he never gave him a chance. Rich on serveral occasions has said stuff like Im sure we would get on etc but Michael just doesn't want to know at all.

I admit that was wrong of Michael, and i'm no fan of Michael myself, i'm just using him as an example. Michael seems like an unforgiving person aswell, but Richard shouldn't use this as fuel to mock him in front of everyone. He uses the fact that he's quite powerful in the house to his advantage.

GlitterEyes 26-07-2006 05:02 PM

He isn't powerful though, he knows that most of the housemates dislike him he is aware of that his only "friends" are Susie and Pete now Jayne has gone. He says he would like to get to know Jenn and Spiral more which he has been doing. He knows that him and Susie are likely to be up every week til they go (well apart from the twist he didnt expect).

I think Michael set out with one agenda only which we saw in the secret house. Which was telling everyone he hated Rich and they would clash. The way he said that Rich made him the most unwelcome was utter rubbish as he tried with every housemate. Rich jokes around with everyone in a harmless way and most of them know he is joking and messing about. That is the way he is and the issues lie with Michael, if he doesn't like the way Rich jokes with him he should distance himself.

He is powerful, look how many times he's survived eviction. And all the people he has had arguments with have end up getting kicked out.

But he hasn't stopped, and although Michael has complained that he was unwelcoming towards him, he still brought his sexuality into it.

He never knows when to stop. In fact, he probably does, just chooses not to because he enjoys being spiteful. Certain times he does joke with housemates, but you can't tell me that complaining in the diary room saying stuff like "acidic little troll" or "his ass looks fat enough to sit dinner for 8" is "harmless joking"

Why? there is no escape in that house.

Foebane100 26-07-2006 05:51 PM

The time in the garden I think Michael handled it badly rather than having a tantrum (I thought he was joking at first I haven't seen anyone over 2 do that before.) he had the perfect chance in front of everyone to say Richard I've already asked you don't call me she.

I have to agree with everyone, my instincts just said there is something wrong with Michael the first time I saw him.

GlitterEyes 27-07-2006 12:05 AM

But the more Michael talks about "camping it up" the more he is making it be about his sexuality so in one aspect he is saying don't define me by being gay and the next that is what he is doing himself. I do agree that at times he can take a joke to far but the people that encourage him should not do so aswell.
