did you like your school? after i left school they closed the building down and it got pretty derelict and fire damaged they then knocked it down and a load of gypsies movedonto the site. it was a really sad day when the school was knocked down.

Hated school until University. Both schools before that are still thriving and have added on since. Sorry to hear about your school being knocked down PS. :(

My school was actually a really nice place that dates back to the 16th century, and has international students and some domestic boarders attending, so it was always a really nice mix of different people.

Gstar 13-02-2013 08:24 AM

My school/academy was nice but had some vile students and teachers.

Gstar 13-02-2013 08:25 AM

And I was very naughty

My school was a really nice old building - all beams and oak panelling....went back a couple of years ago for a reunion and it was great to see the place and appreciate it without thinking it was a prison....the boys school was across the road and was a newer building....and pretty grim...

My schoolwas knocked down too :(
It was a fun time they didn't pressure you, I had a right laugh...didn't get any qualifications like, but had a laugh ;)

King Gizzard 13-02-2013 09:59 AM

my school was on a documentary/entertainment show (rock school)

they made it out to be pretty bad, but it was alright, i liked it

after I left they changed the school system here though and made it into an academy

lostalex 13-02-2013 10:03 AM

It would take way longer then i'm willing to spend tonight to tell you about my school experience.

It is a good story though.

At the time when i went there, my school was rated one of the top 5 public schools in America. And my county was the richest county in the country.

That was during the 90's though. LONG time ago. My school is not just a story, it's a series of stories... lol

Ammi 13-02-2013 11:43 AM

..my school was ok, it was very Catholic..(and strict)...and it was frowned upon to talk to kids from the less Catholic scool, which wasn't far away..I didn't love my schooldays but I didn't hate them either...I had a nice group of friends....

Kizzy 13-02-2013 11:47 AM

Ammi that's awful! fancy being influenced who you can and can't speak to! :(

Omah 13-02-2013 11:58 AM

My Primary School was, I kid you not, called "Paradise", not far from "Eden Street" and a pub called the "Adam & Eve" ..... :pipe:

Joseline 13-02-2013 12:58 PM

Nah, I just had better things to do.

LemonJam 13-02-2013 01:07 PM

The school itself was alright. The teachers were generally a bit unenthusiastic. The students though on the whole were just nasty. Not disruptive in classes or anything like that, but were just generally mean-spirited people. Smart, pretty rich kids. -.-

My high school was knocked down too

it was ok

Withano 13-02-2013 01:39 PM

Ofsted called it excellent, I thought it was average at best

Saph 13-02-2013 01:46 PM

My school wasn't that bad I guess.. I just felt very unmotivated throughout my whole school experience and I sort of gave up in Year 11 and ended up not doing my best in my GCSEs.

I loved primary school though

interesting fact - i started school in the millennium year and was in each year depending on what year it was (eg year 5 in 2005, year 8 in 2008 etc) :worship:

Vanessa 13-02-2013 01:50 PM

It was ok. I think the buildings are still there.

smeagol 13-02-2013 02:33 PM
