I'm just watching it and I am literally sobbing my eyes out when the elderly maid gets fired.

How did this not win Best Movie at the Oscars?

It's a really good film, the book is even better

I'll have to get it, it's been so long since I've been through so many emotions watching a movie.

I watched it last week... its an amazing film . Very poignant though

I didn't think it was the saddest movie ever StupidHoe. It was well made and entertaining, but as George Takei called it "white people solve racism" :laugh:

The saddest film I ever seen was Grave of the Fireflies, it's truly heartbreaking.

Agreed. I watched it expecting it to be amazing but it was dull.
