What a shame I really like him as an actor,thought he was great in Tarzan and really like the Mummy,wonder why the work dried up for him.

Not to speculate, but usually when work dries up for actors and actresses it's either because they're unbearable to work with, alcoholic/drug addicts, or a combination.
