do you give to the homeless?

do now and again. me and a few mates a few months ago gave a tramp £20 . his face was a picture and he went straight into subway and ordered food. im sure he peobably spent the rest on booze but it was his money.

Conzors 17-02-2013 05:13 PM

i give to homeless organisations and charities, because then i know my money is being spent worthwhile.

I dont give it to randoms in the street because the majority will spend it on booze or drugs. If they were actually homeless theyd go to a shelter or seek help, rather than lie in the street.

Marcus. 17-02-2013 05:15 PM

yeah i do
if i do see some on the street i give some money

Kizzy 17-02-2013 05:18 PM

No, I donate via DD to two charities that's my bit.

Amy Jade 17-02-2013 05:18 PM

Yes, especially if they have dogs.

Apple202 17-02-2013 05:20 PM

Only if they have dogs (which I know a lot of them do on purpose) bcos dogs >

Shaun 17-02-2013 05:25 PM

If I have some change in my pocket, yes.

Kizzy 17-02-2013 05:28 PM

I think most druggies have cottoned on to the fact we are a nation of dog lovers, which is why they drag a poor scabby half starved pooch around...arseholes.

Saph 17-02-2013 05:57 PM

No, I dont have any money to give

Smithy 17-02-2013 06:00 PM

keep a open mind on this - its a tear jerker and act - if you really want to do something - donate money to a homeless chairty like SHELTER. or buy the big issue. often beggers have drink and drug problems and the money is going to that and there problem can only deepen.

smeagol 18-02-2013 08:47 AM

outside the chip shop was one he said i havent eaten in days i said well done man now thats will power wish i could lol

used to pass a begger every day one night in a club he was in there buyin double shots and bragin about that earns 500 a day beggin. while im sitting there drinkin the cheap drinks thinkin about the pound i gave him lol.

No, they want to get of their arse's, stop feeling sorry for themselves and get a job like the rest of us have to.

Scrounging gets

GiRTh 18-02-2013 12:30 PM

No, never. I'm not a big fan of charity evn though I work for one.

lostalex 18-02-2013 11:26 PM

it depends on my mood. Sometimes i'll give them whatever change i have in my pockets, sometimes i'll give them nothing, sometimes i'll give them a 20 dollar bill. It totally depends on my mood and also depends on the person. If i see someone that looks like a young hippie that's just homeless as an adventure, i'll usually give them something. If i see someone that's older that looks like a crackhead, then i won't give them anything.

Brother Leon 18-02-2013 11:31 PM

Not money tbh.. I give my chips from a meal at times or the drink if I have drinks home already.

MTVN 18-02-2013 11:35 PM

Sometimes do, normally when I feel forced into it though, when I'm travelling through London on my way to/from Uni I'll sometimes have a cigarette outside train station and when they catch you there the easiest way to get them to go away is sometimes just to give them a few pennies

Jake. 18-02-2013 11:46 PM

My mum once bought a homeless man and his dog a pack of party rings, that's good enough

Ramsay 18-02-2013 11:46 PM

No because im a skabby wee prick, but i do feel bad every time i just walk by them

GypsyGoth 18-02-2013 11:51 PM

I'm quite scared of the homeless to be honest.

Also I've seen groups (or families) of beggars setting off in the morning to pick the spots and begs for the day, some of them see to treat it as a job.

Anyway to answer the question, no I don't give to homeless.
