..I think Banksy is a genius and his street art has such meaning as well..I hope it does well and is bought by a museum...

No Ammi is going to be sold to a Private Collector then it goes up in value again. Yes he put that on Poundland who sold child labour built bunting |
..you don't know who will buy it Arista...hopefully it'll create interest from the museums and be displayed for everyone to enjoy...
|
Banksy is amazing. Done a project on him for Art in School days. Most enjoyable thing I done that year.
|
Shame he didn't spray it on the building owned by the charity supporting these vulnerable children, raising awareness AND cash? Now it could be forgotten about hidden away in some vault, increasing in value for some collector.....
Come on banksy sort it out haha ( p.s if you want to be political on my house you can) ;) |

Watch the News it will be a private buyer. You are in a Fantasy I am in Real Life |

He can not as he put it on a Private Owned Building But he put it in the right place "Poundland" |

Has anyone figured out who actually removed it though yet? Was it removed illegally by thieves? or was it removed by the owner of the building? I know Poundland said they didn't have it removed, but they also said that they don't own the building, so i'm confused.
If it was the owner of the building, then I would think that they do have the right to sell it. As far as Banksy goes, i'm not really impressed with his art. You can see things that are just as clever on Reddit or DeviantArt every day. I like his stencils, but i don't think he has that much talent, certainly not a rare talent. |

has avoided talking to the council so Local TV news think its him. We should find out soon Poundland did well as many went to see it and would pop into that cheap store. It appears that one had special meaning as Poundland had sold bits made by children. |
Just on ITV1London News
(will also be on Ch5News at 6:30PM) New :Banksy has put up a small Rat holding a board. It is now expected to go for half a million pounds tomorrow called "Slave Labour" In Florida they say they got it legal from the owner of that wall. http://www.justluxe.com/mobile/article.php?cid=1889500 |

Yes but minutes from its Sale in miami it was withdrawn. I think the owner is scared as the Locals want blood |
What the locals from the London borough?.. Yep bet they are all stormin Miami haha
|
Quote:
No they may have tracked the Owner in London and said he will Die. They can not afford a fast flight to Florida. Last minute frantic scare Maybe the Labour Council has given his name out? Dirty tricks |
OR banksy has claimed it as his intellectual property and stopped the sale?
|
Quote:
No he never does that. Anyway as he put it on a private owned building it belongs to the owner. |
I'd sell it if I could get half a million

this has turned up in it's place.... http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/image...7bdbcdd401.jpg |
The irony of selling a piece of anti-capitalist artwork is clearly lost on the person who took it.
It's just a never ending cycle. Awful. |
From ITV1 London News
Its in Europe according to the Local Council Bloke who got the info from a press man. So it may be a Private Sale, now. |
Meh if it's a private building then I suppose the owner does have the right to sell it, regardless of how good an artwork it's considered to be

Yes True unless he is getting Death Threats now? The Labour Council Bloke is spending to long on this if it returns he will find out No need to go to Push TV Studios every day. |
