Member's are treating this site like its google, im all for helping someone out but its getting too much.

more and more thread's being made asking question's that you can find on google without the need to make a thread on this site asking the same question.

..yeah, I can imagine what that 'long chat' was...my OH has those sort of chats as well sometimes....still it's a shame he turned down the chance to be 'fixed' for free....lol..

General chat/chat means just that doesn't it, general chat/chat? I don't see that it mattters what the subject content of a thread is for the most part, we can cherry pick which threads we want to read surely. Maybe some members would rather just ask opinions of others than google every question. Plus, every forum has what some would consider nonsense threads, so I just don't see a problem, unless it's a spambot, and some of their threads aren't that bad :joker:

Its not google, you're quite correct but it is a public forum with a section for off topic chat and banter so I don't quite see what the problem is really? If I don't like / have interest in a thread I move along and view another...

LOL - I never use the word normally but it is what is listed in Chat and Games....it sounds awful in a Manc accent....:joker:
