Has music become gender specific?
Have certain music genres become age, gender or even sexuality specific?
I remember a time when you could listen to any type of music without some sort of stereotype attached. But these days if you like certain artists or bands you get labelled or judged! Has music become something people can use to judge others? |
Not gonna lie, if a guy is into female pop singers I'll make the assumption he's gay.
|
I guess I assume it's only teenage girls/teenage gay boys like Boy Bands
|
I think a lot of people do judge and there's stigma attached to certain genres of music.
But I'm comfortable enough to know that just because I like a few pop tunes and appreciate catchy music, doesn't make me gay. :idc: |
I only really judge people that listen to chris brown
|
Why? I don't like him but some of his music is good
|
I listen to all types of music , it's a shame people are 'judged ' on it, it's just music you either enjoy it or you don't I don't feel I have to like a certain type , I just like all sorts from classical/boyband/heavy metal/Rock ,pop anything my ears find appealing.
