ITV have denied it, so there is obviously truth in it.

I have kind of grown out of the Curly era and am kind of meh to the idea of him returning. I would rather they bring back Sarah Louise Platt tbh:blush:.

the thing is - what we found likeable back then - may not be the same as now. i have found this with endless charectors in soaps - to name a few - sharon from EE and den from EE you sort of cringe.

Well since he's only met up with the producer, it wouldnt be quite official yet. There is still chance of him returning.

I cannot really see a role for him, he's one of the last I felt would be brought back.
Still it worked for Dennis Tanner overall so maybe if he comes back it could possibly work.

dennis has ajusted and taken a small part - will shirly want to do the same - opppps i mean curly.

I don't like Dennis. I gave him a chance because I had heard lots of stuff about him and some older people I know who were around when he was first in the show liked him back then, but I just cannot warm to him as a character at all.

same here bbfan - but what i have put it down to is - die hard fans who can remember his younger days - but like you - he is boring to me.
