Where do you prefer to live?

Countryside, town or in a city?

Ammi 04-03-2013 03:48 AM

..I've always lived in villages in the countryside...I like to visit towns/cities but I'm not sure I would like to live in one...

lostalex 04-03-2013 04:52 AM

i love the bustle of a city.

Quiet scares me.

Ammi 04-03-2013 04:58 AM

Town, close to countryside and city

Jesus. 04-03-2013 07:59 AM

Difficult one for me to answer. I grew up in countryside which was the most boring thing ever, but living in a city now, I really miss the village. Particularly as with me away, it's currently missing it's idiot.

When I can afford to go back, and I have a family of my own, then I'd like to live in the countryside, but for me, now, the city is the right place. Even if it is Birmingham!

Jords 04-03-2013 08:35 AM

City!

Munchkins 04-03-2013 09:14 AM

Town.. perfect inbetween

lostalex 04-03-2013 09:16 AM

I'm guessing that "town" is the british word for "suburb"?

Lee. 04-03-2013 09:31 AM

I've always been a townie. I'm lucky to stay where I do as I can walk into the town centre in 20 mins but if I walk the other way, I can be in countryside in the same time. I can be in Edinburgh in about 20 mins and Glasgow within an hour plus a n hour or two drive north and I can more or less be in the highlands with some of the most beautiful scenery.

Countryside

Hate the city.

SharkAttack 04-03-2013 09:47 AM

Countryside for me. I live in a city that has more than a quarter million residents, but feels closer to a town/suburb mix because it's spaced out incredibly. You can walk out onto a nice field by a school in the evening, put down a blanket, and stargaze without hassle, or city lights.

Very much enjoyed the downtown city life(7-8 digit populace) though, only when I was single, with no cares. ;)

Definitely the countryside, always have lived there and really always would like to

Josy 04-03-2013 10:52 AM

Countryside

lostalex 04-03-2013 10:58 AM

I love being able to just walk outside my building and people watch. I go down to the lake and see people (and hot shirtless guys jogging) and it's all good. I need to be around people.

I couldn't handle being alone out in the country. I would feel so lonely.

Kazanne 04-03-2013 10:59 AM

Love the city life, nothing like strolling down Manhattan on a summer night, but also living in a suburb now is also lovely,so I'm easy !!!!!(don't even think about it):joker:

I get claustrophobic in cities, in the countryside by the beach is my ideal location
