EDF's vengeful £5m to sue Protesters

http://www.channel4.com/media/images...dash_w_LRG.jpg http://www.channel4.com/news/edf-sue...aceful-protest This was Debated yesterday on BBC1 The Big Question. I want EDF to Win as Electric Power is more Important than some women up a EDF Tower. They could Protest Outside No need to Invade. |
Nobody would pay attention if they just politely held banners up outside. I support them here, and the £5m figure is just a corporation trying to crush the little guy.

You are Wrong they would get TVNews. They Cost EDF big time. Crush the Punks |
People up and down the country protest politely and no one ever hears a word about them. The French have the right ideas about protesting. They don't mess around.

Sure But outside EDF TV news would cover it. They Broke in Take their homes to help pay the fine Set a Example Times Are Hard |
Got to agree with JHC here. We should be more "French" when it comes to protesting. And as EDF is owned entirely by the French government, we should definitely stick it to them Johnny Frenchie style.

Yes EDF is french
But they supply UK power |

definitely thought this was the other EDF

Won't find too many more self righteous people than climate-change activists, maybe peaceful protest wouldn't achieve a huge amount (but then neither has this) and why necessarily should it, that's part of the problem with these sort of protesters; they expect their cause to be one that all reasonable and caring people should uncritically support and if you don't then there's something wrong with you
