all i would like to know want do you call your bf/gf parents by the surname or they real name

I call my partners parents by their real names. I am not posh enough to call them mr and mrs xxxxx :laugh:

Well if it's the first time you're meeting her parents, then their surname unless she tells you otherwise (you should ask her). If you know them well enough then...you should already be on first name terms?

I should just add...that's 'hello Mr Smith' for example, not just 'hi Smith'...make sure you include their title.

Oh.. I would cqll them whatever they are introduced to you as.

Just call them Mr and Mrs Gemma
