Well I can understand why they shot the Lion if they were trying to stop it attacking the girl and had no other means to do so
|
It's very sad that she died and in that way :( They should be looking into the reason she wasput in that position that the lion was free to attack her. But why kill that lion for acting on instinct? :(

but fire 2 and it will drop. Killing the Lion is Wrong - Its doing what its meant to. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/...01_634x476.jpg [An investigation is now underway into why the intern entered the cage of the four-year-old lion named Couscous photographed here in 2012 ] |
You're wrong Arista, for one very simple reason. Giving a lion too much tranquiliser is the same as shooting them. It kills them. Whenever vets give animals a sedative, it's based on the weight of the animal. Too much is lethal, so in order to give that lion the right amount, would take time to get into their systems.
I agree that killing it was wrong, but once they decided it needed to be stopped, then shooting it was the most humane way. That lion would have guarded that body with it's life till it had been stripped of meat. There is no way that could be allowed to happen. |

is better than shooting the Animal to Death ['These are big cats that are extremely dangerous, and they placed a volunteer in the actual cage with a wild animal. That should have never happened.'] |

We don't know how she got in the cage. |
As sad as it is that the animal died they really did have no option really. The questions that need asking and answering is why she was in the enclosure and put at such risk.

Yes the Owner of the Park was crying as he wanted to keep both alive. Someone at that time was on Duty above her so they need that persons name |
Another story of some dickhead amateur wandering into an enclosure with a wild animal and the animal has to be killed as a consequence. What a species we are...

No she has worked with all the Animals there but someone in charge of her should have shouted "Get Out Of There Fast" The Owner is so upset but some of his Staff are to blame |
People should stop getting upclose and personal with wild(or should be wild) animals shouldnt they...good god. No sympathy I'm afraid, its a risk you take when doing stuff like that

Poor lion is all I can say, stupid b*tch
|
I wouldn't say she was a dickhead... it is possible to work well with such animals... it's just a sad accident. Being angry at the consequences of it shouldn't mean we insult the deceased.
