I'd care for a bit more appreciation of this fine classic children's programme from our childhood. :idc:

No, but that film terrified me when I was little. I couldn't get past the part where he sees the blood in the field


But no I watched a film/series when I was little and it was these animals and I just remember them crossing a road and the hedgehogs died and my sisters and I were sobbing

You just made me laugh out loud, I wasn't expecting that :laugh2: Some bits did go a bit far, but it was still a great show.

Look it took me a long time to get over Bambi's mum getting shot in that meadow. I thought that was to be the end of my pain until Finding Nemo came out and that ***** shark ate Nemo's mum.

It pushed me over the edge if I'm honest.

I'm not going to appreciate something like this Ben. Its too painful.

Seem to remember reading the books but don't think I ever watched the show

I used to collect the magazine!!!!!

This Series was truly horrific :( the hedgehog episode

And then a bloody episode later this happend to them, they got killed and the mum was just crying :(

The mice episode. The worst was when they killed off Mole when he froze to death in the winter. :(

Maybe they should start repeats of it on the horror channel :o :D

How the hell did this show get commissioned? It's like horror for kids:shocked:

And when Mr Pheasant saw Ms Pheasants roasted corpse on that windowsill and then got shot himself, so so sad

I used to love it but barely remember any of it

It's probably traumatised a few of you :o :laugh2: but on the other hand it has probably given you a greater love of animals :)

It was still a great programme :D
