the new press law - will it work ?

the new press laws ? will it work ?

i sleep with the press - will the new law split us ? 18.03.13

yes i am in bed,
i am aware my partner i am slagging,
but some actions are low,
and all of us the "press" are shagging.
your trade does sink,
its run on corruption,
my words won't reach,
because its a confession irruption.
look at poor "Jerry" and "Kate",
or "Millies" dad and mum,
that was unforgivable,
the "hope" was making hearts beat like a drum.
you are seedy,
not like "John Inman" you must agree,
yes its better then other country's,
but you will never say and i quote "i'm free".
to get your story,
you would sell your own mother,
because every reporters priority in life,
is to get that "1" front cover.
bad practicing will still flow,
the nature of the "game" is the hit,
this "honesty" won't reach the "Nationals",
because if the truth comes out, it will split.

( today we have new press regulations. all i want to no is - will they work ? i am skeptical. )

Not under David Cameron's weak and watered down plans for it. The press have failed to properly regulate themselves for ages now and this last series of really rotten and in fact criminal actions by them should mean they are never trusted to do so again.

The Royal charter proposed by David Cameron, has not likely got the teeth needed to deal with such an unruly body like the press, I am for the regulation as detailed and proposed by Levison.
For me the PM was wrong to not be implementing this in full.

This new deal, once we get the full details of it must be underpinned in law, for me anyway, to think it will have the strength and teeth to deal with such events arising from bad actions of the press in future.

It will be interesting to see if it does have that underpinning in law becasue David Cameron has been totally against that,of course he was sure to lose the vote today anyway on his original weak plans so maybe hehas at last see n sense..
