brown wheelie bin

do you ever put stuff in there that your not supposes to

i do  your only supposes to put garden wastes in it like grass clipping and hedge trimming or small branches

but i put wood stone and stuff that don't fit in the bin bag in it so when i cut the grass it cover up all the bad stuff and the silly collection people put it in the truck thing :amazed::cheer2:

who does this :suspect:

Redway 23-03-2013 09:21 PM

I'd be surprised if anyone didn't do that. Don't have a brown bin but all the stuff that could be recycled just goes in the green (garden waste) if it's full or w/e.

what about brick and stones and metal some times

The collected material is composted. If it gets contaminated in any way (by containing the items above) then this will pollute the whole load and our contractor who does the composting will refuse to accept it. This is why it is so important that only the specified items are in the bin.
heheheee
