homeless people in the usa - there treatment and a reminder - youtube video link

homeless people in the usa - there treatment and a reminder to us all - youtube video link 29.03.13

one of my pals,
gave me a link,
now i need under my eyes towels,
because i have been brought to the brink.
a fantastic sting,
set in a "diner",
everyone accept one on wing,
this was beautiful a real shiner.
we have the "room",
now we need a angry boss,
cameras fitted with zoom,
this big chap can get cross.
doing his job and serving,
remember most are acting,
then a "homeless" guy whose been no less deserving,
is brought in with compassion attracting.
told he can have what ever he does desire,
$20 dollars in the till did bank,
as soon as the "good Samaritan" has left its fire,
told to leave with no $20 dollar thank.
it boiled on with pleads,
but all kept quiet except the "hit",
and this showed the "USA" people and compassion,
please watch this video as it made my eyes split.

( what a video and what a pal of mine to make me watch such a heart breaking clip - i will never forgive you for this and you no who you are NEM ?. so i am going to show who ever reads my poem what inspired it. and i hope they have the same compassion as me. this aside i really want to draw attention to the ignorance we all have about homeless people. or have i got this wrong and they are on the streets through there choices and no compassion should be shown towards any homeless at all ? what are your views on this short movie clip -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaKF3_FwJ3w )

I'm much more worried about Homeless people in the UK...

Kizzy 29-03-2013 10:59 AM

It is shocking and soul destroying to see images like that joe, I haven't seen the clip personally, however I can imagine there are individuals out there who would target vulnerable homeless people.
There are both here and the US organisations that help homeless people, we have to look at the positives too?...

I love this show. There's a great episode i've seen where they have a waitress being homophobic to a gay family in a restaurant. Also there's a good one about women being refused service in the restaurant for wearing a hijab.

It's always fascinating to see how people react when they witness discrimination.

Yes its America
The rich and the over growing Poor

And the Split in Peoples responses

easy to Film

At the start in the bar
thats typical politics

Some go on the street begging - but then go home
type scam , meaning not homeless

arista 29-03-2013 02:15 PM

On FoxNewsHD Stossel report
showed Real scams - not actors
a young lady went down to the Highway Turning junction
in rough clothes.
a reporter then tracked her to her House.
She had normal clothes on there.

Thats why FoxNewsHD is better than ABC

Fox News is not better than ABC News. They did it because they hate poor people, and wanted to make it look like all homeless people are scam artists. ABC News does real stories about real homeless people.

Kizzy 29-03-2013 02:25 PM

After april there will be a steady rise in homelessness in the UK.

No John Stossel is a stand up guy
if they are corrupt bankers or corrupt homeless scams
he will show it all.

This Stossel show is better than that ABC one

Stossel is on Fox Business Channel I thought. Did they move him over to Fox News?

[Edited after i looked it up] and What Would You Do? is technically part of ABC News, but not really, it's more of a reality show, it's a primetime show. I guess technically it's part of the ABC News umbrella, but it's not real investigative reporting, it's a reality show.

He seems like a good guy, and I certainly prefer libertarians over conservatives any day of the week. But I think sometimes he's too into ideas and not enuf about people. He seems to base his morals and values around specific principals, and he doesn't really think about the actual people involved.

I think as a journalist you should be more focused on the human stories, John Stossell seems more interested in the bigger picture instead of on the little guy. he seems like more of a politician than a journalist. All of his stories, it looks like he's trying to prove a bigger point, instead of just telling people's stories.

Yep with the double whammy of the bedroom tax and benefts cap, there will be the biggest urban migration since the victorian era. who knows what impact this will have on communities.
