Senior vice president of Sotheby's real estate Kevin Brown has revealed that he showed a Chinese woman around the luxury condo in a 90-storey Manhattan building.
Brown told China's CCTV that he when he asked his client what she was looking for, she explained that the apartment was for her daughter.
"She said her daughter was going to go to Columbia, or NYU, or maybe Harvard, and so she needed to be in the centre of the city and that was why she was picking this one particular apartment," explained Brown.
"So I said, 'Oh, how old is your daughter?' And she said, 'Well, she's 2′. And I was just shocked."
The building - which is situated on 57th Street, Manhattan, New York City - boasts facilities including an aquarium, a library, a swimming pool and a private concert hall.
