Make suggestions for TiBB games

Sometimes games go great sometimes they fail badly. What games would you feel you'd be mostly dedicated to and which would you like to see made into a TiBB version?

I don't know, most do able things have been done I think but I think something that could be voted on more fairly than the usual popularity contests would be good.

InOne 05-04-2013 09:57 AM

How could that be done though? Even if there's judges they will always lean towards certain people.

Marc 05-04-2013 09:58 AM

Games taking out voting are more appealing right now, to reward skill and tactics IMO

Yeah it must be annoying cos a load do take skill and that but then end with a vote and the popular ones win no matter what they've contributed

If there was some sort of a system on how a judge could score people for effort maybe, like how much of a task one person did, how many times they posted etc. Also individual project type tasks could be sent to a panel of judges without being told who did which one

Niamh. 05-04-2013 10:03 AM

Also, people could be actually told it was against the rules to ask for votes, I know this wouldn't stop everyone from asking some people but it might help, at the moment it's the done thing

I think Munchkins making her voting public helped the voting in Glasshouse

InOne 05-04-2013 10:05 AM

Yeah definitely, but that also doesn't always work as people get annoyed when people ask them to randomly do things for games

Yet people still made multi's LOL

What I thought was a great idea was what Ben did for one of his Twists in Elimination last time, he told us the wrong people were up so anyone who PM'd Ben to vote got a PM back saying that those people aren't up pick between this person and that person instead

InOne 05-04-2013 10:12 AM

Has there been any other team games apart from the pub quiz?

Niamh. 05-04-2013 10:16 AM

I'm not sure actually, you get players splitting into to team etc in a lot of the games but I can't think of any other fully team games, which could be a good idea cos I way prefer the whole team thing like in the Pub Quiz

InOne 05-04-2013 10:17 AM

Yes, would be good to get the Callidus lot together for something different

Niamh. 05-04-2013 10:21 AM

Yeah, it would, what though? hhhmmmmm

How about some kind of quiz based on "the chase". The questions would have to be laid out in a row with 60 seconds to answer a list of, say 30 questions, where people wouldn't have days to use google / image reverse / song identifying programmes?

InOne 05-04-2013 10:29 AM

I think for a chase-like game you'd have to do most of it in a chatroom as the forum is just too slow

Jayson(I think) hosted something kind of like that, but it was based on Mastermind, you had to choose a specialist subject (I picked Dexter) and then you had a general knowledge round as well, it wasn't bad but he never finished it lol

Not like TIBB for a person running a game to give up half way through!

A game called Pirate Master run by Roy Mars III and Marcus

I'm eagerly waiting this

Ammi 05-04-2013 11:06 AM

..I think the games on TiBB are already great games and there are probably more than most forums have...I don't think the issues are with the games but more the voting systems of some of them...which is indeed a great shame, not only for the people who take their time to run them but also for the participants who are very committed to doing their best, either for themselves or for their team....

The Amazing Race would have been a great new game.. If Ben doesn't want to come back then he should let me know what he was planning on doing and I'd happily run it. Or look into it at least
