fantastic. I know a family who had a baby after 26 weeks last year who was born 2 pounds and shes doing very well too. It strengthens the pro life argument thats for sure. great news.

My OH has twins that were born at 26 weeks...they had numerous bleeds on the brain and were given the last rites twice but pulled through. They were in hospital for almost 12 months on and off (mainly on) but are fine now...their development was a little delayed but they caught up and other than being quite small they are fine (grown up now). Modern medicine coupled with mother nature can be amazing!

And? My cousin was born far earlier than that and he didn't get a ******ing article wrote about him.

My friend had a very prem baby,it was pitiful to see him,none of us thought he would survive,he did however he celebrated his 5 th birthday last week,he does have Cerebal Palsy,but he is a lovely little boy just has trouble walking,this is a lovely story.
