What is so good about Pete?
 

I am just wondering what is so fantastic about Pete for him still to be favourite to win BB7?

I mean is it a sympathy vote, or is it because you generally think he is the best and most entertaining housemate and the most deserving to win it?

I am just a bit lost, yeah he was my favourite upto about week 4, but people like Glyn and Mikey both now have rose above him in entertainment value.

I do still like Pete but there is no way he deserves to win it when you have genuine housemates like Glyn Mikey and even Imogen in there, even Richard is starting to bring more then Pete now.

Someone please tell me why they like Pete to win if he is your favourite just to see if I really am missing something, because in my serious opinion he has nothing that the other housemates don't have except for a reason of sympathy, but even Richard has that now after the letter? :puzzled: :puzzled:

I agree totally, I still really like Pete and don't have a bad word against him but I too can't understand why he is hot favourite to win to be honest. Aisleyne, Glyn, Mikey and Richard are a lot more entertaining in my opinion.

There is nothing there that he does anymore which is funny. Even basing Glyn on tonights show, it just shows that Glyn is genuinly funny and deserves nothing less then winning the show, the thing that you have to think about is that would you laugh at Pete and find him funny if you met him down the street?

So why does Glyn deserve to win the show after tonights show, because he wanks and gets pissed.....awesome!

Yes actually, because he is a genuine 18 year old boy who happens to be the most entertaining in there and the most genuine in there. He is an 18 year old, and is himself and doesn't care about what he does, he just has fun and no-one has a bad word against him.

I dont actaully mind the guy, but i think if he won it would be rather silly.

People seem to forget alot of things that Glyn says.

When he went into the Diary room talking about how posh suzie was, and how he didn't think they would get on so he said " ill have to make her cups of tea, so she doesnlt nominate me" for me that statement made it quite clear he was always thinking about who might nominate him, and playing the game alot more than people thought.

Over just the past week, he has called Spiral a "idiot" how that boy can call anyone a idiot i dont know.

He said Michael was acting, and had a bitch about Aisleyne with Imogen in Welsh.

He calls the girls frigid beacuse they wont get it on with him. If Housemates dont want to play spin the bottle he see's them as "boring".

And i strongly believe that he was the coward who wrote that Pete smelled of B.O when they did that mini-task, and then didn't even have the balls to admit it was him, when Pete asked who wrote it.

I dont hate Glyn, far from, but i certainly think he is over-rated, and fooling the public slightly, i would be very disapointed if he won.

Personally i think it was quite clear it wasn't a joke.

Why would that be funny? i dont think Glyn is one for jokes is he.

Most of these are accusations, and its funny how you have turned everything against glyn, probably thinking for a long time for all of these things, but Pete hasn't been an angel either, in fact none of them have. Glyn is a genuine boy, yes he might not be the sharpest knife in the draw, but since when has that been a key feature into winning Big Brother.

I agree. I like Pete and all but he hasnt provides with much entertainment comapred to others.

As ive said before i don't mind him, but big bro and alot of fans seem to be very biased towards him this year.

I just think you are trying too hard to find bad points and not looking at what good points he has, and if you like him you should know deep down that he has many otherwise you wouldn't like him. I had no need to defend him because I am sure not many people would agree with what you said anyway. What do you mean biased to him this year, what year are you comparing him to, I didn't actually know him another year apart from this one to be biased when concerning him to be honest.

Its nothing to do with agreeing with me or not, i am just pointing out events that have ACTUALLY happened.

Pete seems a nice guy and not done anything nasty in the house.

However, they are so tiny that people who are not picky wouldn't of realised them.

What about Pete during the nominations this week laughing while Richard completely ripped into Michael, that aint the sweet pete that everyone knows and loves so much is it.

Yes i agree that they are not huge incidents.

But the diference is with Glyn these small things just go unnoticed and are brushed under the carpet.

Where as with other housemates, and especially Dickie to be honest, any little things he says or little thing that he does that might be a litttle bit nasty or...not nice....people point it out straight away and have a go at him.

If Richard did things like........Say he was going to be nice to Mikey so he didn't nomiante him. People would be outraged and looads of posts would be made about it. But when Glyn does it, it's no big deal.

Glyn has been entertaining and a very good housemate.

The first few weeks i loved him, but i now find this "Glyn is on a journey" storyline rather tedious and think Big Brother is playing on it a bit to much.

Basiclly i dont think Glyn is as innocent as people make out.

I do understand partially where you are coming from. However, I don't think Glyn has generally done anything as bad as Richard has, Glyn has never really been rude to someone or constantly insulted a housemate behind their back, whereas Richard has. Yes Richard might be getting better but I do believe the extent of what Richard does does get more of an uproar basically because it is a bit more harsh then maybe something Glyn could do.

However, the things you have mentioned about him saying girls are frigid and calling people boring for spin the bottle reminds me of sezer, not as bad but in a way anyway, I had no problem with Sezer but many other people did obviously.

Pete is a lovely guy and has great values but he is starting to bore me now, so i guess we have to ask ourselves...do we want a nice guy to win or an entertainer?? difficult choice:puzzled:

pete bores me! how old is he? i wonder if he will be acting like this at the age of 30/40 & so on. i cannot believe this is a man that goes to sex parties, but if it was sezer we wouldnt hear the end of it! pete is cool, but i could not have him as a friend because he just agrees with everything you say. a friend is ment to be someone who can/will tell you about yourself also, out of respect. he only gets on with everyone because he doesnt like confrontation. i havn't seen him have a conversation with susie yet! when it comes to sex he can talk about it all day long, but anything else (a part from music) hes just in the shadows. glyn is a boy who is learning the ropes, but i wouldnt want him to win either, but its out of those 2 because BB is dominated by the teenagers. the winner should ALWAYS be the one who brings entertainment value. look at last year & the year before - anthony & nadia?!? please. the likes of grace, sezer, nikki etc should still be in there, & the likes of imogen, susie & pete should have been gone a long time ago imho! if you want to watch nice people then go to church or something, i want to see drama...
