The BBC has lost its Voice - it being cut by 35 min
THE BBC has pulled The Voice UK out of a head-to-head ratings war with Britain’s Got Talent — and CUT the show by more than half an hour.
The rival talent contests face a straight fight for viewers this weekend, as the new series of BGT — hosted by Ant & Dec — kicks off at 7pm, just 15 minutes after The Voice UK begins. But in TV schedules finalised today, Britain’s Got Talent remains at 7pm on Saturday 20 April — while The Voice UK - presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates - has been pushed back by ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES, to 8.20pm. There will be just 10 minutes remaining of BGT when The Voice UK begins. The Beeb's talent show will also be just one-hour long — 35 minutes LESS than this Saturday’s instalment. simoin must be rubbing his hands |

Good, I want to watch both shows at the time of broadcast but BGT's superior so that'll come first this week. I think this should help The Voice as well so it's a decent move on the BBC's part, although the first 10 minutes won't be anything to shout about ratings wise I shouldn't think.

Oh dear. Loooks like the Voice is already conceding defeat.

BGT was always going to rip them to sheds anyway.

Love both shows but obviously BGT has much more followers
