Friends to return?

NBC Confirms That ‘Friends’ Is Returning For A Comeback Season

http://cdn2.elitedaily.com/elite/wp-...59313092_n.jpg

Rumors have been circulating the internet for months that there may be a chance of a “Friends” reunion in the near future.

Good news for all you “Friends” fans out there… NBC just confirmed it is indeed happening according to Star Media. Not only are they having a reunion but they are reportedly having a full comeback season.

The new season of “Friends” is set to launch in 2014 yet it is still unknown whether all of the original actors will be returning to reprise the roles that made them all famous.

How great would it be to see Rachel, Monica, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Ross all back together again? We hope it happens.

I heard on the radio this morning that this wasn't true and there's no chance of it coming back :suspect:

Vanessa 17-04-2013 11:48 AM

Really? Omg! That's amazing! :amazed:

Lee. 17-04-2013 11:49 AM

Niamh, you sure know how to piss on somebodys fire!

Black Dagger 17-04-2013 11:49 AM

Meh, I'd wait until NBC actually confirms it, I doubt it's true.

Smithy 17-04-2013 11:49 AM

NBC just denied it :idc:

so no, not confirmed

GiRTh 17-04-2013 11:49 AM

I hope its not true. I'd just got used to it not being on our TV screens.

Marc 17-04-2013 11:49 AM

What? They can't bring it back without all six of them

Marc 17-04-2013 11:50 AM

Nevermind

I've just heard this too....

I honestly don't think it should anyway. It will never be the same now I don't think....A one off to see where they are all at maybe but not a full series....(I LOVE Friends btw)

Yeah, they'd just ruin it tbh. Like with Sex and the City, the first film was great to see them all what they were doing etc but then they spoiled it all by making the second

Don't want everyone to be getting false hope Lee and then be all disappointed after

Marsh. 17-04-2013 11:53 AM

When will people stop believing this bollocks?

They don't need to do anymore it will only spoil it.

Wouldn't be right seeing Monica with her botoxed face.

DigitalSid 17-04-2013 11:53 AM

I wasn't a fan, at all, but it would have been nice with BB seeming to be getting it's biggest shake up since BB5, to see it back for one more run.

I know, title amended, I was quoting the article, which did claim it confirmed.

Saph 17-04-2013 12:16 PM

I wouldn't want another series, they would probably ruin it somehow.

reece(: 17-04-2013 01:38 PM

Don't they say this every year..

MTVN 17-04-2013 01:40 PM

I'd quite like another series, if it's crap it's crap, at least they tried giving it one more go

But yeah, won't happen

Ramsay 17-04-2013 04:27 PM

Rumors like these come out every year

This, although it's the same every year, whether it's a Freinds movie in the works or a one-off Thanksgiving Day special... it just isn't happening

Marsh. 17-04-2013 04:33 PM

Also, they don't live in the iconic apartments anymore so wouldn't be the same.

It's best left alone, just a 10 year snapshot from their 20s-30s. We don't need to see them all old.

Josy 17-04-2013 05:28 PM

Probably in the minority but I never liked it the first time round

Joelle. 17-04-2013 05:44 PM

I very much doubt it will happen but to be honest I don't think it would be that hard to get them all back together if NBC flaunted enough cash. They've all had moderate success off the back of it but only Jennifer Aniston has had long lasting success. Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow have done nothing in the last few years. Matt Le Blanc's career tanked with the spin off Joey and has only just really started to recover with Episodes. Courtney Cox has done other network shows but the only films I can recall her in are the Scream ones. David Schwimmer voices an animated giraffe, and has done some directing, but that's it. Even Jennifer Aniston hasnt done a good film lately. So if there is enough money in it I think they would do it.

Marsh. 17-04-2013 05:53 PM

Getting a million dollars an episode towards the end I very much doubt they're hard up for money. Matt le Blanc even said he didn't bother going to auditions or reading new scripts, he just took the money from Friends and went off to enjoy life. Can't blame him.

Matthew Perry's done a lot of TV work as well, I just don't think many of them have been shown over here.

Jake. 17-04-2013 05:54 PM

Yeah, they would have each got 20 odd million from Season Ten alone... mad really
