I have never blocked a toilet, I also would never block one, so this thread is irrelevant.

I did it before at a friends and I was mortified and I spent like half an hour un blocking it

I find the bucket of water technique pretty useful or flushing and waiting like 10 times crying

Ugh gavin blocks it all the time then just leaves it. Once I had to use a coathanger to unblock it because the bog brush wouldnt work :bored:

Vinegar, Salt, Baking Soda and boiling water. Those are the four things I think of when the toilet is blocked. I use whatever is readily available from that list.

They're good methods. You know once I blocked it, nobody else was around so I looked up methods to unblock and spotted Baking Soda then Vinegar followed by boiling water.
So I skipped step 1 as I had no baking soda. Went to step 2 which was vinegar. So I did that, followed by boiling water and then I flushed. AND IT WORKED!

I then proceeded to run into the living room and jump up in the air and did the following celebration from 20 seconds to 23.



One of the proudest moments of my life.

This is so true...

Our lovely cleaner is in this afternoon and assures me the quickest method is to pour plenty of bleach down and it helps break it up. I can't believe I'm even thinking about this, let alone having a conversation and then a post about it.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate when you get an unflushable, it's so awful. It happened to me in work recently, it was mortifying, I spent fifteen minutes trying to get rid of it.
