"Orphan Black" (2013)
 

Great new show if you havent seen it. Its on BBC America, Canadian production. I watch it online, so I dont know about tv schedules.

Storyline

Orphan Black follows outsider, orphan and street-wise chameleon Sarah. After witnessing a woman's suicide, Sarah assumes the strangers identity - who happens to look just like her. Expecting to solve all her problems by cleaning out the dead woman's savings, Sarah is instead thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery as she realizes the dizzying truth - she and the dead woman are clones. As Sarah searches for answers, she discovers the chilling fact that there are more people like her out there - genetically identical individuals who were planted in unsuspecting birth parents and nurtured in completely different circumstances. With no idea who created the clones, she'll need to discover the reason in a hurry as an assassin is killing them one by one.

Oh sounds interesting

This show is amazing and keeps getting better and better.

Also the main actress who plays Sarah isn't actually a brit. She's a Canadian. So she's juggling around multiple accents. I think the actor who plays her foster bro isn't a brit as well.

I'm an ep behind but this show has potential

(Also it follows new Who eps on BBC America)

Yeah the lead actress is absolutely terrific. in just 4 episodes For me she is the breakthough actress so far this yer.

Sounds like a cross between Revenge and Battlestar Galactica.

It got picked up for Season 2. I don't think it's in the UK yet but given that's it's on BBC America, I'm sure it'll be on a BBC channel soon.

It'll be amazing trust me, it's a shame Tatiana wasn't nominated for best actress at the Emmys.

(She won the Critics' Choice for Best Actress. I'd imagine that she'll be nommed for the Golden Globes.)

I watched the first 2 episodes on iPlayer last night and it's really good, I daresn't torrent on the uni servers though so I'll have to wait a whole week for the next one :bawling:
