I think the shows are pretty equal, but SC's improv skills are just unreal.

I liked him better when no one knew who he was so he could interview congressmen/women and they would have no idea what he was doing. (See the Barney Frank interview)

I remember when he ran for president as a joke in 08 and was actually polling better than people who had been in congress for 20+ years.
