She needs to put a little weight back on. Then she'll look better.

lily. 24-04-2013 01:55 PM

I feel sorry for people like her to be honest. There's so much pressure to be thinner and thinner all the time, and it's not always healthy. She was already a healthy weight, and now she looks quite ill.

Courteney Cox is the same. I watch Cougar Town and she's painfully thin now, and has such obvious plastic surgery too. Her face barely moves at times. :/

Jesus. 24-04-2013 01:56 PM

Still would.

To demonstrate how she's "aged overnight" there's a picture from today, and one from 1999. She's always been really thin, leave the girl alone.

Not to mention the one from 1999 they used was with full make-up and professional lighting, the 2013 they used is her in a random parking lot.

Shaun 24-04-2013 03:55 PM

god forbid a 42 year old look anything older than 25

Vanessa 24-04-2013 03:55 PM

She's just lost a bit too much weight , that's all.

I know fame comes with all the attention added on, but as a woman, I really feel for famous women, don't you? They genuinely can't win. If she was 4lbs over her normal weight, they'd be ripping her to shreds.

She possibly has always been this weight, as you say... maybe I never noticed it before.. or maybe it's because she's over 40 now, and health professionals say that as women age, we look better with a few extra pounds than we carried when we were younger...

Or of course, it could be bad lighting etc. The camera lies.

I think the media are always waiting to pounce on the beautiful people when they're having a less-than-beautiful day.

It makes me thankful to be ordinary to be honest.

King Gizzard 24-04-2013 07:02 PM

don't think she looks THAT bad, just bad photos/it was probably early

MTVN 24-04-2013 07:06 PM

Looks pretty good for her age if you ask me

Vanessa 24-04-2013 07:09 PM

Her collar bones are showing. She's a bit too skinny.

Jake. 24-04-2013 07:11 PM

Whilst perhaps a bit on the skinny side, completely stupid comparing her to a photo from 14 years ago

LemonJam 24-04-2013 07:11 PM

She's fine...

Z 24-04-2013 07:55 PM

Woman looks older than she did 15 years ago, experts say troubled actress Richards must have body dysmorphia.

What a crock of ****e. Leave her alone, she looks great.

Got to agree. I couldn't imagine the nightmare of schlepping down to the shop in my Crocs on a bad hair day and getting snapped and commented upon. At least she doesn't look like she's had a ton of work done on her face, you know... the wind tunnel effect. Actually it's nice to see the positivity on this thread.

Jack_ 24-04-2013 08:09 PM

Why does the source not surprise me? Sigh...

What's even worse is that article was written by a woman, if it were a man it'd be terribly misogynistic but from a woman it's just depressing

Z 24-04-2013 10:02 PM

I'd imagine most women negatively obsess over getting older and having their deepest insecurities commented upon by other people. If you're not happy with the way you look, or don't want to get old, having a newspaper comment on it is probably the worst thing that could happen to your self esteem. I don't know if Denise Richards feels that way or if she'll ever read that article but I hope she knows she's still a beautiful woman. I agree with Jack, if a man made comments like that, he'd be accused of being misogynistic and it wouldn't sit well, but when a woman does this to another woman, it goes beyond that I think... I think it says a lot more about the woman who wrote the article than it does about Denise Richards. I know that she's a journalist and she's paid to write for a publication but that doesn't excuse the article.
