Words you find difficult to pronounce.
 

Was playing a video game earlier where the word 'prodigal' came up and I was reminded of how I never know how to pronounce it. Do you:

- pronounce the g as a j, as in prodigy?
- pronounce the g as a g, as in cardigan?
- pronounce the pro as in prodigy or pronounce?

idk any more

but yeah what words confuse you?

I struggle to say "Manchester united" i pronounce it as "Salford Scumbags"

I always used to struggle with the word Actually when i was young for some reason and used to pronounce it as Act-shoo-ally.

Phenomenal is always a tricky one. I'm that tired I don't even know if I've spelt it right...

..LOL..yeah Bobnot, there's a lot of people who get Football team pronunciations wrong in a similar way, so you're not alone there....

Chrysanthemum. My ten year-old spells this correctly and says is perfectly, but I falter at times.

I always pronounce that word like Prod-i-cal ..........so yeah completely wrong :laugh:

I'm going to help you out here Alex, with a list of words I just know you find difficult to pronounce:

aluminium
vehicle
route
basil
centrifugal
oregano
vase
leisure
and of course... tomato.

i always mix up depth, death and debt, so i can never really pronounce the one i really mean when talking

when someone can't say specific, i can't say it either
