Don't think this one really has much in common with or is that relevant to the other arrests that have been taking place recently, those seemed to reflect a culture of silence and turning a blind eye to what television and entertainment stars were doing in the 60s, 70s and 80s, whereas these are both very recent allegations and unconnected to the media industry

He is innocent until he is proven guilty.

Aah,arista,I cannot really help you out,:joker:

Actually,I quite like this guy and also think he may well be innocent here.
Obviously the Police know more than we do but clearly there is not the evidence to charge him so I see no reason why he shouldn't continue working in the light of no charges against him.
He has only allegations against him after all. At this moment in time he hasn't been shown to have committed any crime.

It would look even worse if they sacked him and then it turned out he was not guilty. And what's more, he would then have excellent grounds to sue.

Dog Day Afternoon (1975)

Based upon a real-life story that happened in the early seventies in which the Chase Manhattan Bank in Flatbush, Brooklyn, was held siege by a gay bank robber determined to steal enough money for his male lover to undergo a sex change operation.

Yes true

joeysteele 10-04-2014 04:57 PM

This doesn't surprise me,it is sad that he is unlikely to get back the Deputy speakers post he had and I also hope if it is his wish that the Conservative party make sure they take him back into the party fully.

He has been found 'not guilty',the publicity has not been pleasant but in the end he has been found to have done nothing illegal.
It is sad when people make accusations like this,I guess had he been found guilty some 'compensation' may have been the order of the day, however this has backfired and the jury have believed his account of the events.

Good luck to him for the future and I hope he can get the chance, which is the only fair thing to do,to rebuild his career now.
