..:love:...I always thought that the relationship with Clyde and Philo Beddoe in Every Which Way But Loose was one of the greatest cinema bromances ever...apparently 'Clyde' was beaten to death by his trainer..?...so very sad...adorable animals...but yeah, probably a bit too dangerous for a young girl to have as a pet....

Are Orangutans the most docile with humans? Only they use them in films a lot now don't they.

I think most primates are fairly docile as infants, it's when they start maturing that problems arise - especially through sexual awareness.

They also use lions in films, but I wouldn't say they were most docile with humans. You need the right temperament, and the right trainer.

..I don't know how much of this is true Suze..but it does make you think about all animals who are trained to 'perform' in movies, advertisements etc...
