Explain how Passenger - Let Her Go, is only Number 4?

Raw talent right there. The lyrics, the guitar, the voice. Everything. It's perfect.

I was watching the UK Top 40 and this guy came in at Number 4, they only played about 30 seconds of the song :idc: Probably because the chavy bastards who idolize MTV have no time for anything that isn't autotuned.

This song is number one in tons of countries, the guy's became a hit everywhere - and in the UK he only reaches Number 4? Something's the matter with Britain tbqh.

Because three other songs have sold more than this one.

You are welcome

Withano 12-05-2013 11:44 AM

It was the 4th best selling song of the week

Kizzy 12-05-2013 11:45 AM

There's always next week?

Patrick 12-05-2013 11:56 AM

It'll probably sink into oblivion after this week - whilst One Direction will release a track, and it'll go straight to No.1

Tom4784 12-05-2013 12:03 PM

It sounds incredibly generic and dull.

Patrick 12-05-2013 12:04 PM

It's hardly generic?

Kizzy 12-05-2013 12:09 PM

Sounds like the spawn of James Blunt... to be blunt.

Tom4784 12-05-2013 12:09 PM

Yeah it is, there's literally nothing special about it at all. It sounds like a rejected song for a John Lewis advert.

Jords 12-05-2013 12:10 PM

Sick of the same people harking on about songs being generic and dull.

Its a nice song and the dude has a different + pleasant tone to his voice, no.4 is still good but charts dont matter lets be honest! :)

Shaun 12-05-2013 12:12 PM

it's crap

It's not different though, it's incredibly derivative and dull.
