Sky News Twitter account: "Colin was here"...
 

A Twitter account belonging to Sky News has made an unusual tweet.

@SkyNewsBreak, which is meant to provide breaking news to its 900,000 followers, posted the words "Colin was here" earlier today (May 14).

It is unclear whether or not the account was hacked or if the tweet came from an employee.

The post was retweeted more than 7,500 times before it was removed half an hour later.

A couple of weeks ago, Sepp Blatter's Twitter was compromised, with a series of tweets being made claiming the President of FIFA had resigned after accepting bribes from a Qatari prince.

The Syrian Electronic Army took credit for the intrusion, later taking control of accounts held by The Guardian and The Onion.

:laugh: I wondered why people were talking about the name Colin on Twitter earlier today, I had no idea what the context was.
