do you ever wonder about parallel universes?

I love thinking about the other worlds that could be co-existing. does anyone else

Ramsay 18-05-2013 01:05 AM

Sometimes, but the only way i would think they would be possible is if there are an infinite number of them, seeing as even the SMALLEST decision would make another world. I'm not good at explaining things but Bioshock Infinite does a great job of it

Benjamin 18-05-2013 01:06 AM

in one world I am probably married to niamh

lostalex 18-05-2013 01:13 AM

Science already believes that a multi-dimensional universe is not only possible, but likely...

We are animals still, and we can congratulate ourselves for figuring out how to fly, and how to walk on the moon, but i have no doubt in my mind that we havn't even scratched the surface yet. I'd say that we understand less than 1% of what there is to know.

The human mind is incredibly pathetic.

If there is I want to live in the Universe where Power Rangers is real just to understand how in the hell they rebuild buildings so fast after they're destroyed in Ranger battles.

"That's the fourth time this week we knocked down that skyscraper."

I do when I'm watching Doctor Who.

Star Trek is better...just sayin.

:nono: Alex

I don't believe in parallel worlds, that's all science fiction.

I do believe in other worlds out there though, not necessarily like ours but other worlds.

Parallel universes seems a ridiculous concept to me, and makes absolutely no sense. The human brain isn't pathetic, our brain evolved in such a way to give us the maximum opportunity to avoid being eaten by lions in Africa.

It's ridiculously improbable that we have learned what we have.

Marc 18-05-2013 08:21 AM

No.

Shaun 18-05-2013 10:24 AM

not really, since it's likely there are infinite galaxies and the possibilities of that and life are pretty dazzling enough

Livia 18-05-2013 10:27 AM

I think we may be in a parallel universe, and that the one where everything is normal is... somewhere else.

Kizzy 18-05-2013 11:13 AM

Space exploration and studies into this type of concept grinds my gears, that money would be better spent maintaining this planet and everyone on it.
I don't believe in this sci-fi rollocks, do I wonder about existentialism? Yes.

Z 18-05-2013 01:04 PM

I don't believe in them, but I do think it's a brilliant concept.

Patrick 18-05-2013 01:06 PM

'could be'?

They DO exist.

Star Trek and Doctor Who are very different.

They might both be sci fi but that's about as far as it goes.

thesheriff443 18-05-2013 01:22 PM

my mind is open to the possibility of a parallel universe.
if not parallel then life on other planet's is a strong possibility.
we need to explore the universe.
we spend as much money on killing people as we do trying to save them.
