Great Price

Ryan57 22-05-2013 08:50 AM

Bet the food isn't that nice. Sausage probably tastes like donkey dick.

Cherie 22-05-2013 08:55 AM

Natalie, 31, who had a sausage bap and a cup of tea for £2, added: 'It was very nice and lovely for the price, I'll be back tomorrow.

:suspect: Natalie is skint apparently, has anyone told her she could have that at home for about 50p.

Marc 22-05-2013 08:55 AM

Mmmmmm

I've never tasted donkey dick so cant compare, but surely this is good news for people who don't have much cash.I've been to some places where the food isn't that nice and paid far more than £1.

Can you buy individual sausages, tea bags, baps, spoons of sugar, and tiny bits of milk?

She may not have the £5 required to buy all the ingredients in one go, and being trapped in your home day after day is not healthy. Getting out to eat is probably worth £1.50.

You can make sausage in a microwave..well depending what type of microwave but yeah you can.

And I wonder if this would be all cheap tasting food if it's only a quid for a full breakfast?

My comment was mainly aimed at her saying she would be going back again tomorrow which would suggest she has the 5.00 required to buy the ingredients. Nobody is saying she can't eat out but if you are on a budget eating out every day is not cheap no matter how much of a discount there is on the food.

Fair enough - I didn't read the story. In that case you are probably right, and she should be pooling her money more effectively.

That's a meal though, Alex. One McD burger isn't even a snack.

Kizzy 22-05-2013 11:16 AM

All sausages are donkey dick haha. It is still cheap fatty salty processed foods but it is a meal.... bit torn here.

Well, you'd have something else with the McDonald's burger when a meal. However, a burger would be more than enough for me as a snack. :suspect:

Good for those after cheap meals however, I wonder about the quality tbh. As long as the meal isn't as rough as the two girls stood either side of the one in green I guess it'll be alright.

I was referring to Natalie who had a sausage bap and a cup of tea for two quid, doesn't sound that cheap when you say it like that.

Kizzy 22-05-2013 05:01 PM

I didn't get that, you can get a full english for a £1 but a sausage buttie and a tea is £2?
Must be bliddy nice tea :joker:

Mrluvaluva 22-05-2013 05:03 PM

Pound Bakery has nice pasties and sausage rolls. 2 for £1. And even sandwiches are £1. Nothing wrong with it. Just value for money. Just like Greggs but cheaper.

Cherie 22-05-2013 05:04 PM

It will be finest English Breakfast tea I suppose :suspect:

Locke. 22-05-2013 05:43 PM
