You probably got it mixed up with something else.

I remember unwrapping a sandwich without really concentrating and put the sandwich in the bin and walked all the way upstairs before realising I had the empty wrapper in my hand.

No, I'm so paranoid about losing stuff, always checking that my wallet, keys and phone are still on me whenever I'm out and about.

Yes. I lost my iPod for half a year and found it under a sofa cushion.

Yes and it drives me MAD! I am usually forgetful when it comes to knowing where I have out my belongings and it is so annoying when I lose something.

You are not alone with the fridge thing..a few years ago I lost my phone and was looking for it for hours until I heard the fridge ringing D:

I'm usually very good at keeping track of things. Although sometimes I do forget my stuff, like yesterday I left my phone in a classroom for about 5 minutes before I realised.

I've put both my phone and house keys in the fridge on separate occasions.

I also threw my work shoes out of the 4th floor window when I was drunk because I could smell them, and then the next morning spent half an hour frantically looking for them for work before my room mate told we what I had done.
