Summer CBB needs a different theme/feel
 

If BB14 is to remain special then Channel 5 should wait atleast a week before doing the celeb version.

Leave the dust settle on BB14 and give the winner their week to bath in their glory and not be outshone by the CBB launch it isn't fair.

I would want to see some slight changes to the house (nothing major just a lick of paint or different bedding and furniture in the garden) Just little changes to make it slightly different.

In regards with the secret twist im intrigued to see if this carries on into CBB seeing as these housemates will know the whole show including twists ect so they need a sort of different theme or just strip it to simply a twistless series and get the right housemates.

It would make the summer BB unique and the CBB less tedious and depressing watching these z listers take over our housemates.

I think a good twist would be, when BB14 is over, the final 5 stay at the compound while the Celebrity version is on, The ex Housemates would be able to watch the celebs through monitors and have power to change what happens in the house, have a word in the tasks and set celebs on Secret missions.

All Channel 5 want is for Celebrity Big Brother to shine, they couldn't give a damn about the original series - in their eyes, CBB is awaited and held up on a pedestal by fans around the country, when in reality most of us couldn't care less and are happy with one CBB a year, but no.

I'm the first person to admit that they want CBB to shine - of course they do, it's the higher rating show - but given the considerable effort they've clearly put in to this year's normal BB it's an absurd statement to say they "couldnt give a damn" about it.

They even spent a six-figure sum buying Brian Dowling out of his contract so it could have a better host ffs!

I really think the BB winner should be a part of CBB to tie it all together.

They just need to axe it.

They'd be the most relevant housemate in there :laugh:.

CBB as a whole or the additional summer series? CBB as a whole is going nowhere and regardless of how well the normal series does, the additional summer series tied down and contracted for the next two years, so sadly we're stuck with that for the time being.

They really shouldn't bother with CBB during the summer but of course they will. Of course though the secret theme has been running through Celebrity Big Brother for years now - nobody usually has a clue why most of them are famous.

Could be good, not for the full 3 weeks though, maybe a week

Its so pointless having another series straight after.

It takes away the event like feel of the summer BB.

I'm so bored already at the prospect of another CBB :( it's so overexposed, can we not just have a return to the 13 week run of the civilian series?

Why oh why do we need another bunch of z-listers to waste the budget? I actually hope it flops this summer.

I agree with this 100% , but dont spring it on the housemates telk then before hand that the winner goes in the celeb version.

Ive said this before but I still yhink a winner stays on prize would be good.
