Weekly HL Shows at 10, good or bad idea?

10pm could be too late for people who have work/school the following morning but at 10pm there is less competition. What do you think, good or bad?

Jake. 01-06-2013 09:52 AM

It's better for audience share, worse for ratings.

MrWong 01-06-2013 10:42 AM

Bad :nono:

I usually go to bed around 10 during the week as im up for work at 5:30.

joe199998293 01-06-2013 10:49 AM

I thought the schedule said they are at 9pm?

AnnieK 01-06-2013 10:49 AM

I prefer 9 o'clock highlights too..Im up at 5.30 each morning too...

Rob! 01-06-2013 10:50 AM

I prefer 9 but that's so I don't have as long to wait.

Firewire 01-06-2013 11:03 AM

It doesn't bother me, I just don't like when there's an hour wait between highlights and Bit on the Side...

I feel the same, about the wait between both shows.

It happened quite often during BB13 where BB would be at 9 then BOTS wouldn't be until 11...

Bad move I think.

Although, I they keep it consistent, it may work out. Last year, the schedule was AWFUL. It changed on a daily basis all the time - you didn't know where you was with the highlights sometimes.

I don't think it'll do that well for ratings, one hour really can change everything and I think 10-11pm might be a bit late for some - as mentioned above, people have work, school, university and what not.

But, if they keep it consistent each night the best they can, it may work out for them. Changes in the schedule are inevitable sometimes though.

Pronshi 01-06-2013 11:29 AM

I am 100% sure the first week schedules said it's 9pm.
Doubt they would have it that time the first week then change.

daniel-lewis-1985 01-06-2013 11:49 AM

Bad idea.

10pm is bed time for most of us who work.

Bad for ratings, good for share. I guess we will see how it goes. It avoids big competition from the 9pm, but for 10pm, there can never be a large +1 figure at 11pm. However, CBB11 did reach high figures on at 10pm (one highlight show got 2.38m overnight).

aj2463 01-06-2013 12:28 PM

9pm would be better because there is always +1 or sky+ but i hope they keep it at the same time every night. Can't even count how many times i've missed it with them changing times from 9 to 10

Jack_ 01-06-2013 12:29 PM

Good idea, they have more freedom as to what they can show. 9pm is too restrictive (it shouldn't be, but it is).

The schedule should be consistent though. 10pm weekdays, 9pm weekends (including Friday's evictions).

That's not a high figure really for CBB and normally 1 million less people watch the summer BB so we are probably looking at a 1.3 overnight.

Joel2012 01-06-2013 02:03 PM

I think it shows that BB's audience has got a lot younger. BB was always a 10:00 show in the early years and it was still managing 4m then. To say that's too late shows its now much more of a teen show.

DigitalSid 01-06-2013 02:11 PM

I think it should depend on the competition, if there's nothing much on at 9, then it should air there, if it's up against something that can pull 5m+, air it at 10. Hopefully they'll do that later on in the summer, when 9pm becomes less competitive.

It can be more Adult.

any that can not watch can record it

emmetmcl 01-06-2013 03:54 PM

For CBB I prefer 9pm as I have college so usually just record it and watch it the next day, but during the Summer I don't mind what time its at.

BigSister 01-06-2013 04:04 PM

I don't mind but keep it on at the same time like someone said last year they changed it all the time and it annoyed me so much. Just keep it at a time unless its for a twist or a new housemate

Marcus. 01-06-2013 04:18 PM

i don't mind

zakman440 01-06-2013 04:24 PM

Good and bad - Good because they can show more, bad because I can't watch BBBOTS, I have to wake up at 6:30am!
