Aren't ITV and C5 two different networks? Why would ITV advertise for the competition?

Because it gets them money. Channel 5 will pay advertising companies to put their advert on other networks, which makes ITV money, as they sell the advertising slots.

ITV won't care what the advert is for, as long as it makes money for them. That's why ITV is free to viewers and how it makes its money, through advertising.

I'm sure they will for Channel 4 and hopefully on ITV, preferably during BGT final.

I think the advertising will be just fine within the last week. I think they have it under control, seems they do with everything else... Or, so we think thus far.

I had literally no idea they could do this until I saw a big brother advert on C4 advertising last year's series and was really confused.
