Remember a few weeks back I said Facebook had culled my friends from 900 and something to 62, well the pain staking process of adding them back continues but I just realised that my friend Joey who ended his life last year is not in my friends and I can never add him back. I'm absolutely gutted. :(

Ohhh Ben :( I'm sorry to hear that, that's really upsetting! Probably a stupid question, but have you tried getting in touch with Facebook to see if they can restore anything?

That's terrible. Did FB explain why this had happened?

No, I just logged on last month and it had wiped most of my friends, all my basic info and a few other bits. No idea why. I thought maybe I'd been hacked but my activity log showed nothing? Luckily all my photos were left in place.

Ah I would be so upset if this happened. I have 2 people who died on my friends list.

They should have to explain why they did that? what do you mean they don't answer individual queries, there must be someone you can approach, I can't believe it is completely faceless???

If you visit their page when you search their name itll always be one of the first to show. Depending on privacy settings is how much youll be able to view back now but at least thats something, Id be sad too.

I was a few months back. He gloated about it earlier to me via a message and I checked through my activity log and saw an option that said 'only me' (never noticed that before) so I clicked it and low and behold scrolling down the page is the activity for me removing all of my friends. I must have left my FB open on something of his before we broke up.

Let's plot some payback?... :devil:

I really can't be arsed with him or payback. I just want to get on with my life and leave him in the past.

I was going through my phone and deleting numbers the other day and it is awful when u have to delete a loved ones as they are no longer with you.

Is there absolutely no-one at all that can be contacted on facebook that you can explain the situation to and at least get those messages if no others restored? Or have any of your other friends got messages from your now deceased friend that can be forwarded to your FB account?
