go into my local Weatherspoons on Curry night and its heaving between 7 and 9 then dies off, its more a restaurant than a pub, I dont know why they are making such a song and dance about it, Little Chef serves alcohol too, and I presume they will have to adhere to licensing laws so they wont actually be serving pints from 8am!

I think it's a good idea if there's a bus of people travelling through the country, they'd obviously want to stop for a drink. Sensible drivers won't have a drink but it does tempt those who aren't so sensible to drink and drive.

Eh don't see much of a problem, there's pubs alongside all roads, if people can visit those in their cars every day of the year why can't they be trusted to go to one that's in a service station. With Wetherspoons there's just as much emphasis on their food and other drinks than there is on alcohol as well
