I was getting angry reading some of the comments in the article. Nelson Mandela is a hero, not a terrorist. :nono: He helped get rid of apartheid. :worship:

lostalex 08-06-2013 06:36 PM

He's lived a long full life. Getting to 90 is nothing to complain about.

I think both Mandela and Prince Phillip are knocking on the door.

Seriously ??
Culturally we are more divided than ever.If you think the EDL had a problem with immigrants check SA xenophobia.Corrective rape is accepted by a lot of women now.:bawling:

lostalex 09-06-2013 12:23 PM

I've heard horrible stories about how Zimbabwean immigrants are treated in SA.

MTVN 09-06-2013 12:36 PM

My exact thoughts haha.

Just echoing the sentiments others have expressed really, I hope he managed to lead a happy life after being jailed for so long, he is a true hero and I hope he recovers... he did so much for his country and will be remembered as a hero for a very long time when he does eventually pass away...

Nedusa 09-06-2013 09:34 PM

Looks like he is now starting his long goodbye, a man of integrity and honour one who suffered for his beliefs and one who championed freedom equality and justice for all.

A great Man one of the like we will not see again , glad he has had over 23 years of freedom since he was released from Robbin Island in 1990

Hope he recovers and has a few years but either way the name of Nelson Mandela will live in the hearts and minds of all men for generations to come...!!!

Ammi 15-06-2013 01:22 PM

..it was just on Twitter a little while ago that his grandson said he was recovering well...
