Back to the OP. I think a mix of 3 and 5.

3, 4 and 8 for me, it is something I would rather not think about to be honest!!

Nuclear war. We will stupidly wipe ourselves out IMO. I feel thats way more likely to happen before a meteor hits us or something.

I think the sun will explode and destroy us :shocked:

Most likely something like Yellowstone erupting... not sure if it'd wipe out everything though.

While experimenting with new fuels, a Tralfamadorian test pilot panics, presses the wrong button, and the whole universe disappears.

A nuclear plant somewhere in the world exploding, half the word wiped out and then all the fall out will just descend the world into chaos until we all die

Humans going extinct and the world being destroyed are 2 very different things. A virus cannot destroy the world.

A virus could very easily destroy us...

I think the world will be here long after humans are gone.

But I think the end of the world as we know it will be something to do with the sun, maybe a massive solar flare that wipes out the worlds power grid.

im not sure , but number 7 will always remain a mystery to me.

Many humans are idiots, which is why I think it will be 4 or 5. Next most likely is the virus. Number 9 could well happen too. Number 2 will never happen.

I thought this was some clever word game :) but I think the world will end when the sun swells up and engulfs it in it's red giant phase...!
