If you were a Big Brother housemate, would you have a strategy to win...

..and what would it be...or would you just be yourself and be confident that your charm would get you to the final..?..

*mazedsalv** 12-06-2013 11:59 AM

I'd be myself. I can't really fake a persona. I would just be up for a laugh and always would want to drink and make things to keep myself entertained. It's a good thing that I don't bitch, but I could really lose my rag if someone continuously annoys me. To the point where I could throw something through the window and smash the place up.

So, in the house, I could be liked and go far if no one annoys me everyday, otherwise I probably would be ejected for trashing the house.

Sawyer 12-06-2013 12:05 PM

Stand back for a few weeks, analyse the people.. Make no enemies so the loud people causing all the **** get evicted before I make my moves. That's as far as I had thought into it.

Vicky. 12-06-2013 12:06 PM

Nope..I know I wouldnt win, so I would just be myself and enjoy it :)

karezza 12-06-2013 12:07 PM

1. Don't take it too seriously
2. Don't bitch
3. Have a laugh
4. Don't be two-faced
5. Take earplugs with you
6. Cook, clean and wash up
7. Flatter the other housemates
8. Share your cigarettes/sweets/toiletries
9. Relish your time in the house
10. Remind yourself that it is a popularity contest and the public matter more than the housemates.

Not really but I'd try and make sure I didn't get nominated for silly reasons. For instance, I'd clean the dishes etc cuz I've seen so many people nominated for not doing housework and on occasions the votes for not doing house work have meant that a HM has been up for eviction. It happens year after year but still HM's go into the house, sit on their arses and then are surprised when they find out why they were up for eviction.

Things like that but no specific game plan.

EDIt: Like what Karezza has put ^^. I'd just make sure I don t get nommed for silly reasons.

That sounds like the best strategy tbh

daniel-lewis-1985 12-06-2013 12:08 PM

I would be myself but would have to hold back with certain things as the stuff that comes out of my mouth is totally inappropriate and the Ofcom brigade would be on a rampage.

Like Salv I could imagine myself throwing something through the mirrors if it got to the point of being annoyed lol.

I don't know how anyone or why anyone would go in there to be fake when its a once in a lifetime experience.

This too. Let the big personalities pick each other off.

swinearefine 12-06-2013 12:11 PM

No, the most strategizing I'd do would be to nominate the boring people, both to make the show entertaining and to reduce competition if I were up against them in a vote to save.

Pronshi 12-06-2013 12:14 PM

Yeah I'd just be myself. Plus I can never keep up a persona in front of people for that long.

ThisIsNickkk 12-06-2013 12:16 PM

I don't think I would have a game plan per se, as I don't think I'd be able to keep up a fake persona for so long - presuming I would be in the house for any length of time.

I'd take a step back for the first few days and sort of analyse the group, without being two-faced about, but I think if they think you're part of the team sometimes that goes in your favour.

Looking at other series' it really seems to rile people when you refuse to get involved in a task, or when you refuse to wash up or clean up after yourself etc... etc.. but then on the other hand, I'd not be boring with it - sort of have a laugh with everyone.

Bitching Is a hard one, a you may even be bitching about a public favourite, and you know how the housemates can run their gums to others and be two-faced. But then, the bitching makes good TV sometimes!!

I'd just be real I think, I hate it when people go into the auditions and say on their VT that they're this that and the other and it never happens.

As for the nominations process, I think I'd stick to my heart with that one as well, I don't think I'd have anyone sway me into voting for others. The boring ones would be nominated and the ones that are pissing me off.

But then again, you never know until you get in there, it's a totally different kettle of fish me sitting here and saying I'd do this, this and this... but once you get in there I bet it's immensely different.

Valdora 12-06-2013 12:18 PM

Be yourself, be nice and be entertaining. Getting ganged up on by the "beautiful people" doesn't hurt either ;)

armand.kay 12-06-2013 12:22 PM

I would be myself but once I feel like anyone is coming from me I would start strategizing.

Withano 12-06-2013 12:23 PM

I don't think Aisleyne had a game plan, but the game she played was unintentionally brilliant, everybody hated her for 8 weeks, she cried on the 9th week and finished third on the last. I think if I was in the show that would be the best way I'd go about winning.

Jemal 12-06-2013 12:34 PM

It is something ive always wanted to do but its obviously unlikely. But I would be too arrogant for a people in there and too playful/banterish imo. So i would probably stay quiet for at least the first four weeks, then come out my shell in the closing weeks. But if there are a couple beautiful girls from the start then i wont stay quiet, ill come out my shell straight away.

Scream 12-06-2013 01:00 PM

Probably would have a strategy but I cannot reveal in case one day I use it ;)

joeysteele 12-06-2013 01:32 PM

Really couldn't say for certain. I would go in and try to be myself without losing any of my principles.

However, it is a totally alien and artificial place to be in, with no other distractions or enough time that would be quality time to be on your own then that would likely take its toll.
I hate 2 faced people and people who deliberately lie,so should I find that out or suspect it is happening, I would need to speak out against that

I do really think the BB house could take you over and totally alter your personality and then you couldn't help but end up acting far differently from how you would outside that environment.

Sophiee 12-06-2013 03:19 PM

I'd be completely myself. game plans very rarely work.

Sun Tzu. 12-06-2013 03:23 PM

I would vote tactically. For example, make friends with people and put them into a position in which to get them to naturally vote for other people, then you do the same and you will survive that way.

smeagol 12-06-2013 04:43 PM

everyone has a plan when they go in. even if its just behave to start with so not evicted first ( thats everybodys worst nitemare)
me though i'd be my self . shame i'm not in you would get some laughs for sure lol
if i didn't like them in there or didn't get on that well with them then id come up with a plan in there to win. really depends you might be in with a load of bores or nobs n think right now i need a plan.
